Sarah Worthington graduated from AECC in Bournemouth, UK in 2002. Following her graduation she worked as an associate in a clinic for 2 years before heading to the African Continent where she made Uganda her home. She has travelled widely across Africa during this time. She has worked in numerous positions in Uganda; in a large private hospital, The International Hospital Kampala, and the national referral Hospital, Mulago. She has also worked in short term positions in other African countries. In 2016 after reflecting on the need for affordable Chiropractic services in rural communities she started a non-profit clinic in her home town of Jinja. Sarah continues to run Hand Back Health; the administrative duties of the organization and working as clinic manager and chiropractor. Sarah has aided the Chiropractic Association of Uganda gain regulation with the Allied Health Professions Council and the registration of individual Chiropractors. She is honoured to serve the African Chiropractic Federation as Vice President. Sarah is committed to the ideology that Chiropractic care should be available to all and developing Chiropractic throughout Africa, particularly to underserved populations. With this in mind she is committed to the work of the African Chiropractic Education Initiative to create educational institutions on the African continent.
